What makes the FLIR M460 different
AI target tracking
An onboard neural network trained on the marine environment automatically detects and classifies common objects — vessels, buoys, small craft, people in the water — then keeps the one you select tracked on screen, holding it in rough seas, crowded waterways and high-speed maneuvers.
Multi-spectral imaging
A high-resolution thermal sensor paired with a 4K ultra low-light visible camera. Switch between the two, or blend the visible camera's color detail into the thermal scene for clearer identification.
Three-axis stabilization
The sensor payload rolls inside the gimbal housing as the yacht pitches, rolls and yaws. That third axis is what keeps the image usable at speed and in rough conditions, not just steady at the dock.
Tight-beam laser spotlight
Positively identify vessels and people in the water out to 1 km with a narrow 2.2° beam that lights the target without blinding the bridge or washing out the image.
Optional laser range finder
M460-LRF models add a pre-installed, ITAR-free range finder that measures distance and bearing to targets out to 12 km (6.5 nm), so the bridge works from hard numbers instead of estimates.
Built for harsh marine service
Sealed to IPX6 and IPX7, rated to 100 knots of wind, with automatic window defrost at power-up. It speaks NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 and puts out four independent network video streams, so it integrates with modern navigation and AV systems rather than living on its own screen.
